Looking for suggestions on what ASUS router to purchase for video streaming.
My friend has an older ASUS 802.11N router that just failed.
It will be used in a 1700's vintage farmhouse using Verizon FIOS Internet service.

Any AC router will do the job for video streaming, provided the clients also have appropriate AC wireless interfaces. The RT-AC66U_B1 is the current go-to model from Asus for people looking for an affordable router.

With a single video stream, up or down, using WiFi, most any ASUS router will do. However, if you’re planning multiple, simultaneous video streams across WiFi you’re going to have to put on your network design beanie to ensure that a single WiFi network will meet your needs.
