Magic packet wakes up my PC

Teddyz

Occasional Visitor
I can wake up my PC using the router webpage (RT-AC68U 384.10) and that is of course fine.
But sometimes, daily, my Windows PC wakes up, blaming the network card, without me doing anything.

Question 1: Is there a command letting me log magic packets to a file on my router?
Question 2: Is it a better solution to use my Netgear GS108E sending these packets via port mirroring to another windows-computer running Wireshark?

Check the options of your network card in the Device Manager. Some cards have an option to wake the PC if there is any traffic rather than just on reception of a magic packet.
