Make devices that are via wifi extender act as if in guest network

Hi,
I have a extender which I need to connect to the main wifi. The extender is very dumb so there's not much I can do from there.
I want to set the extended SSID/pass as the ones of my guest network but this way devices connected trough it do have access intranet resources (unlike guest network should behave).
Can I block intranet access for devices connected via extender (as in guest network) from the main router itself? (an RT-AC56U with Merlin in particular)
Thanks.

you would need that SSID attached to a vlan or "guest" network equivalent in the main router.

As I sayed, I need the extender connected to the main wifi in the router. It's a D'Link DCH-M225 and I need it's DLNA features in the main network, but if other DLNA devices connect trough it they don't function properly and I don't want to add another wifi. I would actually want to remove the guest network on the main router and have guest devices only connecting via extender.

Apple was rather clever...

With their 802.11n/802.11ac devices - they created a VLAN for the Guest Network - VLAN1003 - this persists for the repeaters/extended AP's.

Handy feature - forum here is strongly anti-Apple, but this is one thing they did well...
