Max speed on openvpn vs pptp

Hi all

Please tell me what speed i can get on openvpn or pptp via merlin firmware and asus stock firmware

my speed on router side 500Mbps/50Mbps

client side via openvpn client app or windows 10 pptp client on my laptop which has high spec.

Internet speed on client side is 150Mbps/25Mbps different country

Purpose for that acces to Internet via router IP only

OpenVPN speed depends on hardware and you should tell if you have router now or planning to buy etc.

About the speed they only talking about openvpn client but i need to know about openvpn server on my asus 68u and client on the laptop
