New Around Here
Hi,

I moved recently and now my entertainment system can't get wired ethernet :-( I all ready use an Asus RT-AC86U for WiFi and thought about getting a second one and set it up in media bridge mode for my amplifier, tv, and blu-ray player to get a wired network connection. Question is, does broadcast traffic work between the wlan and the wired devices connected to the media bridge?

I have a Naim UniQute-2 amplifier and apps use broadcast messages to locate it.

Thanks in advance :)

I went out and bought a second RT-AC68U so I now have two of them - I got the model number wrong in my original post :)

The answer to my question about broadcast messages is yes - devices on the WLAN can discover devices connected to the WLAN through a media bridge. It works just as well when converting the media bridge router to a mesh node and using AiMesh.
