Asus stock firmware for XT12 has been 3006.x for a while now, will the XT12 Merlin release be updated for 3006 base as well?
Thank you!
Thank you!
I have yet to receive any other GPL beside for the GT-BE98U_PRO, and I have no ETA as to what that will happen.
Thanks. Yes, I've read that, but I think my enquiry was still valid as it's 3 months since the last time it was asked.![]()

Model support Q: Will you support the RT-xxxxxx that was just announced? A: See detailed answer in post #3. Q: Will you support router XYZ from this non-Asus manufacturer? A: No. Asuswrt-Merlin only targets Asus-supported models, due to both technical and legal reasons. Q: I'm having...www.snbforums.com
There is a reason why that was a sticky post. People repeatedly keep asking the same question as you do. Many are waiting with fingers crossed that maybe we'll see Asus-Merlin 3006 firmware for other Asus stock 3006 routers. Until Rmerlin makes an official announcement we'll have to continue waiting. In the mean time if you do a forum search you'll see several recent replies by RMerlin on the subject, for example from this past January...Thanks. Hence the reason why I haven't asked for it yet, not because I didn't want to.
Unsure at this time, as we have been recently discussing starting to migrate some models to 3006, but no definitve model list has been decided yet. If a specific Pro model doesn't get moved immediately to 3006 then yes, they will still provide me with 3004 GPL code for it, regardless of whether on their end they have already migrated it to 3006.
With the Lunar New Year holiday coming, I don't expect everything to be ready for a couple of weeks.
Which is always the case, I get the GPL code directly from them. Hence, whatever posted on their own website is irrelevant to my situation.

The reasons have been explained elsewhere:I was just curious as some of the BE routers seem to have had a Merlin 3006 update.
(Beta) Asuswrt-Merlin 3006.102.1 Beta is now available for WIfi 7 devicesJust to reiterate: don't ask for any ETA on availability, or for support for other models. 3006.102.1 will only support these three models, and we will re-evaluate things after that realease is finalized on any other potential device to support. These must be picked in collaboration with Asus as GPL code and device samples (in the case of new devices) are necessary for each individual model.
Do not ask about support for other models. 3006.102.1 will only support these two models (plus the GT-BE98 by Gnuton), and we will re-evaluate things after that realease is finalized on any other potential device to support. These must be picked in collaboration with Asus as GPL code and device samples (in the case of new devices) are necessary for each individual model.
