Mixing HomePlug types

I have two TP-Link 200AV units between my basement and 2nd floor office. The basement unit is connected to a Lorex security DVR and the office unit is connected to the LAN via 8-port switch.

I want to add a TP-Link 600AV in another room in the home, replace the 200AV in the office with another 600AV but still leave the basement unit in place.

Can you inter-mix TP-Link units?

Different HomePlug versions will interoperate. But they all share the same spectrum. So, like Wi-Fi, slower adapters will reduce bandwidth when they are active.

Yeah that makes sense. Since the security DVR is just to remotely watch the cameras I don't need the higher bandwidth. But I want to relocate my Asus 68R to the 1st floor since most of the wireless activity is downstairs and want the higher capacity.

Thanks.
