Moving settings von AC68U to AC86U ?

Hi,

After several years of using an Asus AC68U running Merlin I bought the Asus AC86U, and of course will run Merlin on it, too.

Is there a way to transfer all of my settings from my previous to my new router?

Yes, type them in

One option is to have 2 browser windows open and copy/paste form one to the other.

Don't save and try to reload a configuration file from one to the other.

Of course I wanted to avoid that 100% manual stuff.

In the meantime, Xentrk utility is dhcp_staticlist.sh saves redoing all the dhcp manual assignments. I save screenshots of all my essential router settings when I need to do a full nuclear reset.
