MS Access & NAS Access

In advance, I'd very much appreciate any insight and help with the following.

Currently, there are 5 users within a call center - all actively accessing a Microsoft Access shared database which is located on one of the users computers.

1) Can anyone tell me if a NAS can host a MS Access shared database without hosting the MS Access application?
If yes to #1,
2) Any concerns using an Intel SS4200-E to host the shared MS Access database?
3) Does the MS Access shared database get moved to the NAS simply by moving the MS Access database files onto the NAS and pointing the clients to the database location?
4) Are there any issues/concerns I should be aware of?

Again, I appreciate any insight which can be offered.
