I am trying to figure out what is causing my router to run at 100% with mt-daapd -m process.
I am running firmware 384.13 on RT-AC68U. I have diversion, uidivstats, skynet, scribe, uiscribe, ntpmerlin, connmon installed. mt-daapd -m runs at 100% cpu after reboots and does not stop unless i kill it with HTOP.

it appears that while running chrooted debian jessie it appears to be causing conflicts with mt-daapd, any suggestions to deal with this issue other than turning it off?

Okay, mt-daapd -m takes up 100% of cpu resources.

Code:
Oct 3 16:10:27 avahi-daemon[5046]: Service group file /tmp/avahi/services/mt-daap.service changed, reloading.
Oct 3 16:10:27 mt-daapd[18477]: Starting signal handler
Oct 3 16:10:27 iTunes_Server: daemon is started
Oct 3 16:10:28 avahi-daemon[5046]: Service "RT-AC68U" (/tmp/avahi/services/mt-daap.service) successfully established.
Oct 3 16:10:28 mt-daapd[18477]: Loading playlists
Oct 3 16:10:28 mt-daapd[18477]: Initializing database
Oct 3 16:10:28 mt-daapd[18477]: Starting mp3 scan

This is where the CPU stays at 100% and does not calm down. Does anyone have any advice to deal with this Issue?

How many MP3s do you have and how long have you waited?

I narrowed it down to the iTunes server. what could be causing this issue?
If I turn off the iTunes server the issue goes away.

So apparently if I disable chrooted Debian while the iTunes server is attempting to finish its scan, then it will free up and finish the scan and consequently reenabling Debian afterwards does not inhibit on iTunes server functionality. Has any one came up with a fix for this other that making a Debian stop/ start inside a script. Which custom script would be the best place for this stop / start mechanism to be added to?
