My router is showing connected but My IP will not change to VPN IP

I am using ASUS RT-AC68U and upgraded to it latest merlin firmware which is released this month only.

I am connected to my Open Vpn client but it is not changing my IP address.

I want to enable the kill switch option if everything work well but here I am stuck.

Can anyone help me on this. I am new to router networking thing Please help me on this.
