My router restarted it self with this text?

Possibly hardware problem, which router and which firmware ?

Have you tried to upgrade to latest firmware and Factory Reset, not restoring settings from backup?
 
I have the asus rt-ac68u router for over six months and I'm using the latest r merlin firmware.

When I had first updated the router almost a month ago my laptop decided to crash so it wasn't successful so I rebooted and tried again and this time it worked. Also I didn't do a restore backup.
