Hello folks,
I've had an N66U for four years and replaced it with an R7800 about six months ago. I finally got around to preparing the N66U for selling on but thought I'd test drive it for a day first so I would know it was working.
The router has the latest Merlin firmware and I have performed a factory reset on it but the following keeps happening:
Power on router
All appropriate lights turn on
Wireless networks appear briefly in Windows
Networks disappear and wireless radio lights turn off
Router admin panel is inaccessible through LAN
If I turn the power off and back on quickly after this has happened, the wireless networks do not start at all. The router needs to be left off for quite a while before wireless will work again (but then turn off quickly). I cannot get into the system log to see what is going on.
I imagine the router has had it. Is there anything else I can do?
Cheers.
