N66U with dd-wrt

After installing it, telnet into the router and type erase nvram. Hit enter. Then type reboot. Hit enter.
Should be ok after that. Then upgrade to kongac high memory build.
It's what I did.
 
Any dd-wrt firmware I load doesn't appear to be "flashing correctly" based on what I'm hearing on dd-wrt forums. In that status page it always shows my model number as Linksys WRT54GS even though I'm flashing the ASUS N66U firmware. Looks like my router just rejects the firmware or has a bad config file stuck in there that "erase nvram" isn't fixing...
