On my router every device has a name. When I look at the DHCP leases, every device is identified by name. The "Client Status" table lists every device by name.
When I look at the Tools -> Sysinfo -> Ethernet Ports under "Last Device Seen" one of the devices (a Windows 7 system) is identified by name. A second device, a dedicated VOIP unit which is identified by name in "DHCP Leases" and "Client Status" is is listed by Mac address under "Ethernet Ports".
Can I fix this or is this something that needs to be fixed in the firmware?
The WAN device un "Ethernet Ports" is also identified by Mac address, but I never set for the WAN device, so I understand why this is.
