T Tmex New Around Here Feb 10, 2011 #1 I am looking to purchase a NAS for my home lab. I want to be able to install VMWare or MS Hyper-V on a server and use the NAS for storage. I am not looking to spend a ton of cash so a one or two bay NAS would do the trick. What are my best options?

M MacYost New Around Here Feb 15, 2011 #2 I know that QNAP only supports VMWare on its more expensive Intel-based NAS'es. But I just read that Iomega supports it on its NAS'es that are relatively cheap. See http://www.smallnetbuilder.com/nas/...rts-iomega-ix2-200-storcenter-network-storage ...which links to: http://www.smallnetbuilder.com/nas/nas-reviews/30954-iomega-storcenter-ix4-200d-reviewed ...where VMWare is mentioned.
