Here is my situation. I would like to implement this under 1000 dollars the less the better. I am not but if I need to spend money I will.
Any who here is my needs..
I currently have two sites that have static IP's. I will be running a critical app between the two.
Site A is going to be server site
Site B is a small branch
I currently have both sites connected via Hamachi but I would like too have something that doesn't depend on an external service.
Any who I would like both Sites to have an endpoint to endpoint VPN tunnel.
Both sites have a static IP and both sites use the same service provider.
Site A currently has IAS Wireless authentication via WPA2- Enterprise Radius server Authentication.
Site A needs Wireless, Site B is an option at the moment (can I use the VPN tunnel to connect to my Radius server at site A).
I would like a router that can handle VPN endpoint to endpoint and have wireless. I don't need a huge amount of bandwidth between the sites so VPN throuput as long as its more then 64kb/s I will be fine.
currently I am considering Cisco WRVS4400N (I'd like to keep router costs under $300 a piece)
Should I look into an alternative like DD-WRT or a different router combination. I'd prefer to keep hardware the same at both sites.
Final trick is that I am a remote user and the users at the sites are pretty computer iliterate.
