Netgear Nighthawk XR700 -- User experience

    Hi all,

    does anybody do have some experience with the router "Netgear Nighthawk XR700".
    Is it worth the money, also seen from a Hardware point of view and how good is the quality around the items used?

    Actually I do have an 3 year old Asus rt-ac88u, where one of the Lan connection is already broken, even that one has been used that much. That is something I don't like.

    If you have to ask 'worth the money'? No. It seems like a lot of trade0ffs to build an 'almost' great router (at least on paper). And, it is still an NG in the end.

    This is still a consumer product. I wouldn't expect the build quality to be any better than the once king of the hill RT-AC88U.

    On the other hand, RT-AX88U is less than half the money and offers a very satisfying experience, overall. Particularly using RMerlin 384.16 Beta 2.
