Netgear R7000 Geoip/geofilter

So I recently purchased a second hand r7000 to use as a VPN router for two consoles. One of my gaming community was talking about how it's possible to run openwrt and use Geoip tables to limit who I am gaming with. I'll be honest, the setup for this looks pretty in depth.

Does anyone know of a firmware for the r7000 that supports geofiltering? This would just be a bonus if I could get it working.
