I have an unused R6400v2 sitting on the shelf so I thought I'd power it up and update the firmware. It turns out the latest firmware for it has been out since at least last summer, so these patches aren't necessarily new, but I assume the exploit for the bug may have been recently published.

Even looking at the RAX40 listed (which I don't have), the affected firmware is 6 revisions old so more than likely, most owners of these routers should already have been patched long ago if they have automatic updates turned on or routinely keep the firmware updated.
