New Around Here
Network configuration n66u, actiontec v1000 & airport extreme
I have an Actiontec v1000 ADSL modem/router this is connected to the WAN port of my airport extreme which is WAN connected to my N66u which is running Tomato 1.28
I have everything mostly working the way that I want it. My N66u is VPN client connected to StrongVPN using a PPTP connection. My airport is my non VPN connected wifi. The wireless on the actiontec is set the same as the airport. The problem I am having is that I would like only 1 router (the actiontec) to assign IP addresses...the only way I have been able to get the VPN client to work however is if I let the n66u assign an IP outside the pool that the actiontec uses. The actiontec is assigning 192.168.1.60-100 and the n66u 192.168.1.10-40 I know this is probably not enough info, but maybe what I'm attempting isn't possible, so I thought I'd start here.
Thanks,
B
