Also, when using the Network Service Filter tab, this too no longer works. The screen is left with the spinner perpetually. Tried in multiple browsers. The apply button does seem to be broken

interesting on this tab, rather than a no-op, this tab will show the wait spinner then log you out after about 20 seconds or so
You appear to be experiencing a completely different issue that is unrelated to the issue discussed in this posted topic dealing with Network Service Filter values not being saved. In this topic the Network Service Filter page would refresh without a value being saved when the apply button was selected.

You should, if you haven't already, start a new separate topic with your issue since it is unrelated to this one. The Asus-Merlin subforum would likely be an appropriate place for your issue since you are running the Asus-Merlin firmware:

I have been facing this issue on RT-AC3100 after upgrading to Merlin new version in 2022.

I am unable to save, after adding any rule in section "Firewall - Network Services Filter". Merlin keeps showing "Applyinh Setting" and then finally asks user to re-log on. Tried multiple times with same result. Each saving rule attempt results in kernel potentially unexpected fatal signal 11.

I already reported this here and here.

As of today 12/31/2023 the "Network services Filter" Tab is now fixed in the Firmware and is now working.

I downloaded Firmware Version: 3.0.0.4.388_24231 on my RT-AX86U and the Network Service Screen is now working thanks to all who researched this and reached out to the ASUS Team to report the issue. A big thanks to the ASUS team for fixing this. Hope you keep monitoring these Boards and fix this sooner in the future.

BTW I had to force update the router as a normal pull failed to retrieve the new version. I also noticed ASUS RT-AC68U is on Firmware version 3.0.0.4.386_51668. Not sure if this would break my RT-AX86U

I do have the Original Factory Firmware and many of the suggestions above are specific to Merlin and do not work on the Factory Firmware. or I am not aware of how to make it work.

Happy New year to all.
