New Around Here
I've got a 1600 sqft 2-story house and an asus ac68u with Merlin, which can no longer detect my ISPs DHCP, but otherwise seems to work. I picked up an Orbi RBR750 from costco, but am reconsidering given that I'm not sure it provides everything I'll want moving forward. I'm interested in setting up a more secure environment for adding home automation equipment (currently just a vacuum). I'm interested in setting up wireguard and configuring my devices to use it so that I can access the home devices while not on my home wifi so that's one aspect of the decision. I only have 100mbps down, and the 68u was providing reasonable coverage everywhere except the garage so speed and range are probably not my main concerns. Any advice on which direction I should go?
