New network topology questions with RT-N66U

Hi,

i ordered a RT-N66U and i build a new Windows 2012 Server.

Since 4 years i have first Sever 2008 and now 2012 running multihomed without
any problems. But let me explain a little bit.

I have a FRITZ!Box 6360 Cable (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FRITZ!Box#Product_line) but
traffic shaping and wlan is not really good. So i use the box only for the phones and
as cable modem. From the box i go to the first NIC on my Server 2012 and the
server does DHCP, DNS, Nat routing and traffic shaping with CfosSpeed.
There is also MQTT running on the Server for home automation.
All the traffic goes though the server.

I was reading that the RT-N66U with Tomato does a good job when it comes
to traffic shaping. So i want to get rid of the multihomed stuff and want let
the RT-N66U to everything. So that there is no need to let the server run
all the time and i still have Internet if he is down.

The question is if i can use the WAN port as normal LAN port?
Can i team the LAN ports without the need for a LACP switch?

In Sever 2012 i can team NICs without a LACP switch, right?
So if i connect the server to the RT-N66U it will work?
But two cables from the RT-N66U to a non LACP switch?
And how about different subnets on the RT-N66U LAN ports?

I also don't know if different subnets would make sense cause
its not a real DMZ.
There will be FTP on the server put i only open that port
if i give somebody a file.
There will be IIS but mainly for Intranet. Maybe someday i need
access from outside but only for me.

What i really want is NIC teaming to the server that there will be
no bottleneck and from my Workstation to the switch.
I attach a drawing of my idea.
All the switches are 5 or 8 port switches cause they use less
power then 1 16/24 port switch and i can turn them off if
i don't need them.

Regards from Germany and i really need some tips :)
