NFS support

New Around Here
Hi,

I am thinking about buying one of these and wondered if it has NFS support? I read somewhere that it was coming out in a new firmware but can't find any more info than that.

The reason I want NFS support is because I will want to use it with XBMC on my jailbroken AppleTV running Linux and understand it's much better than Samba (smb).

Any help would be appreciated.

...and it works like a charm! :)

I have used NFS from Entware before Merlin added it, and now I uninstalled the Entware version and run the native (internal) version.

With kind regards

It's something that I added, it's not part of the original firmware.

It's also not 100% stable. There are some scenarios where heavy NFS traffic will cause the router to reboot. Unfortunately I am unable to track down the source, it's something in the kernel.
