NONACSD channel switching

Since updating to v384.11_0 on my RT-AC5300 I am periodically seeing the following in my logs. I don't recall seeing these entries before, and I'm curious what's going on.

Code:

Looks like the router is detecting co-channel interference when using 40MHz bandwidth on channel 7(u) so it's switching to 20MHz (7). Then some time later it's switching back again.

Thanks for explaining what this means. Since I started using AI-Mesh (ASUSWRT-Merlin) to get around the "stickiness" problem with running two APs with the same SSID, I did have much faster speeds when close to the slave AP since the client would actually switch to, but there are occasions where this flapping between 40MHz and 20 MHz will happen several times a minute for up to 20 minutes at a time.

Where normally I would try changing the channels in use for both the primary wireless router and the AP, AI-Mesh doesn't give you this control on the slave AP. In fact, you can't manage the slave AP at all- everything is controlled by the master. What I am wondering is if this behavior is inherently problematic?
