nslookup

Very Senior Member
I configured my router with the OpenDNS ip addresses.
However when I type nslookup on any local client, it shows www.asusnetwork.net is used.

Do I miss something here?

Asuswrt acts as a DNS proxy. Clients are all pointed to use your router for DNS resolutions, which in turn will use whatever DNS server you have configured. This allows you, for example, to resolve hostnames of your local machines that are known by the router.
