Open VPN issues

Hi,

I use Open VPN in work. Every day when i connect in the morning it says:

XML-RPC: XMLRPCRelay: Session: your session has expired, please reauthenticate

It takes multiple attempts to connect but i do eventually get in. Sometimes during the day it disconnects and I have to reconnect again and have the same issue.

Does anyone know a fix for this?

Whilst the issue is described here, not sure if the issue/solutions should be referred to your employer's IT department.

I could not find an answer to my issue on the troubleshooting page. It is not so much that we need to re authenticate its more than it takes multiple attempts to re authenticate when none of the credentials change.

For more information about troubleshooting authentication problems, you can try reading this https://docs.openvpn.net/troubleshooting/troubleshooting-authentication-related-problems/. You can run the process using the authentication testing tool available in the command line called authcli.
