Hi guys,

I got into some strange issue with OpenVPN server running on Merlin's 384.5, the server works fine but I am not able to connect to some devices on LAN.

LAN 192.168.1.0/24

VPN TUN 19.168.3.0/24
Client will use VPN to access : LAN only
Advertise DNS to clients : Yes
Part of the routing table: 192.168.3.0* 255.255.255.0 U 0 0 0 tun21

I can connect to router's IP and IP CAMs via HTTP but I can't access NAS and some other devices via HTTP (via IP address), I do not use any static routes.

Did I miss any setting I have to configure?

Thank you!

I can ping the VPN client (192.168.3.2) from Windows PC (192.168.1.101) on LAN but not from NAS (Linux) and Raspberry Pi on the same network (192.168.1.0/24) , ping to a virtual interface (192.168.3.1) works fine on both. Traceroute output on NAS and Pi shows that the traffic is being routed to Internet.

Do I need to set a static route on NAS and Raspberry Pi?

pi@raspberrypi:~ $ route
Kernel IP routing table
Destination Gateway Genmask Flags Metric Ref Use Iface
default 192.168.1.1 0.0.0.0 UG 202 0 0 eth0
192.168.1.0 * 255.255.255.0 U 202 0 0 eth0

Thank you.

Check these device's firewall, as the ping would come from a different subnet.
