OpenVPN client problem with AC86U

I just ran across an issue with one of my vpn client instances. I tried to turn it off and it went thru the applying settings, came back and it was still on. Set it not to start on boot, rebooted the router, and it is still on. Deleted the client list and the client is still routing thru the tunnel. Any ideas? I'm on 384.15 of Merlin's firmware.
