OpenVPN help - cannot see lan devices?

Hi,

I thought I had OpenVPN working.... I can connect (or at least the client tells me so) and I get a virtual IP address of 10.8.0.6.

On the VPN status page of the AC66U it shows the client computer connected wit the same virtual address?

I am trying to access a switch at 192.168.1.70 and timeout. I also cannot get to the router.

Any ideas?

I am getting this error in the log....

Authenticate/Decrypt packet error: cipher final failed
Authenticate/Decrypt packet error: cipher final failed
Authenticate/Decrypt packet error: cipher final failed

I get it three times then it disconnects and reconnects.

Any ideas?

Your configuration seem to be incorrect. Check that you have the same cipher on both ends, and same LZO compression mode as well, for starter.

Thanks - your were spot on the cypher in the client config was wrong...

all working now.
