Hi,

Router: Asus RT-AX88U

==2.4ghz counters==
wl -i eth6 counters --rx
wl -i eth6 counters --tx

==2.4ghz pktcnt==
wl -i eth6 pktcnt

I am trying to understand the relationship between counters and pktcnt.

In pktcnt, it says Tx bad packets and Tx good packets [so that's from Router perspective, in others words the pktcnt is for Router -> client/station traffic].

example of wl -i eht6 pktcnt: -
Receive: good packet 154410, bad packet 0, othercast good packet 9
Transmit: good packet 19426, bad packet 1110

at the same time, in counters. i see that this does NOT match any of the following counter names [txfail, txlost, txretrans...etc]

txframe 13830 txbyte 42755732 txretrans 2552 txlost 0 txfail 0 txchanrej 0
txdatamcast 0 txdatabcast 0
txdropped 0 txprshort 0 txdmawar 0 txnobuf 0 txnoassoc 0 txchit 13802 txcmiss 28
txserr 0 txphyerr 0 txphycrs 0 txerror 0 txexptime 0
d11_txfrag 13683 d11_txmulti 10 d11_txbcast 0 d11_txretry 1 d11_txretrie 1
d11_txrts 0 d11_txnocts 0 d11_txnoack 3 d11_txfrmsnt 13683
txmpdu_sgi 0 txmpdu_stbc 0
txbar 0 txpspoll 0
txnull 0 txqosnull 0
txassocreq 0 txreassocreq 0 txdisassoc 0 txassocrsp 0 txreassocrsp 0
txauth 0 txdeauth 0 txprobereq 0 txprobersp 1 txaction 0
txallfrm 827 txbcnfrm 25 txrtsfrm 0 txctsfrm 251 txackfrm 31 txback 94 txdnlfrm 0
txampdu 412 txmpdu 16221 txucast 416 txinrtstxop 0 txrtsfail 0
txper_ucastdt 11.6% txper_rts 0.0%
txfunfl: 0 0 0 0 0 0 txtplunfl 0 txphyerror 0
txcgprsfail 0 txcgprssuc 0
bcntxcancl 0
txbcnloss 0

[q1]which one says actual packet error rate [TxFail from the counters or Tx badpackets from the pkcnt]?
[q2] meanwhile, is there any guide or documentation on the Asus ?
[q3] can anyone plz explain the relationship between counters and the pktcnt.

Thanks
