Per device traffic manager not working RT-N66U 380.65

When I initially installed 380.65 the per device traffic manger bandwith worked. Now non of the per device displays any information. Is there a way to get it working again?

I did that.
I went to tools/other settings and clicked yes to Create or reset IPTraffic data files
I applied and still no traffic.
I rebooted and still no traffic.

Where do you have it writing the files to? And what interval?

I believe you need to set it to either USB or NVRAM for that to work for the Per IP monitoring - I'd suggest USB formatted EXT2.

That didnt work. Last night I formated a thumb drive as ext2, connected it and pointed it at that. No results this morning.

When you set the new location did you rerun the Create or Reset the data files?

Yes I did. I just did it again to be sure. No results.

I have it pointed at the location as above
I logged into the router with ssh and looked at its contents and it is empty except lost and found
I copied motd from etc to the strorage location to insure the system can access it and it copied fine.

ps I couldnt say (slash etc slash motd) or (slash mnt slash traffic). When I do it blocks the reply... weird...

Doesn't look like your mount point is correct unless traffic is what you assigned as the name of the thumb drive. Did you manually type in the entry or did you use the select and browse to the folder?

The folder should have two entries one like the following:

ls dash l /mnt/SD/RTN66ULogs/
-rw-rw-rw-    1 admin    root            20 Feb 19 11:53 tomato_cstats_08606eeab900.gz
-rw-rw-rw-    1 admin    root            40 Feb 19 11:53 tomato_rstats_08606eeab900.gz

In my test case I've got the stats being saved to the SD card.

/mnt/SD/RTN66ULogs/

traffic is the name of the thumb drive.
I slected and browsed to get it

When I formatted it I named it traffic

What if you create a subdirectory and try to create the new files again?

It finally worked. I ended up creating a directory on the thumb drive called monitor, pointed at it and created files. Then the file was created and it started collecting. I still have to click off the box labeled display host names otherwise it will not display anything. Thanks for all of the recommendations. I was about to give up.
