Please help me! .ovpn profile not activating with ASUS router

Hi Guys! I'm new to this forum and require a little help!

So, I just got HFC NBN connected (TPG Australia) and I purchased a ASUS RT-N66U to set up a few router VPN profiles.

I subscribe to Buffered VPN for my services. I've been running desktop client for last 12 months with no issues.

the basic set up;
>WAN > PPPoE > (ISP credentials)
> LAN > IPTV > ISP drop down / "Manual Setting" > VID = 2
----Every other setting is factory default

No probs connecting to internet. Speedtest DL = 45mbps UL = 15 mbps.

When I add VPN Client profile, as per this buffered tutorial

It will not activate!!!

Just get the spinning wheel and never get the blue tick!!!

I cannot find anyone else with the same problem!

I have;
-rebooted router
-firmware upgraded
-factory reset
-tried OpenDNS, Google DNS, Dynamic DNS
-Dissected .ovpn file and input manually in PPTP and OpenVPN manual cert.auth
-deleted Buffered server DNS in .ovpn and replaced with their IP
-Countless hours talking to Buffered support

Please Help Me!!!
