PMF issues with RT-AX53U

New Around Here
Hello, I am new to this forum so sorry in advance if I haven't posted the obvious but...

I have been having an issue with my router for a while now regarding disabling the PMF option in the Wireless->General page, my PMF setting is always stuck to Capable.

As of speaking, I am running firmware version: 3.0.0.4.386_68383 and I doubt it's a firmware version-related issue since it has been present before. The authentication method is WPA2-Personal, when I switch it to WPA3-Personal it gets locked to PMF Required setting but whatever I do I just can't seem to find myself disabling PMF... is there any reason behind it or am I missing out on something which I should've disabled it before for this to work...?

WPA3 - PMF is required as part of that spec...

WPA2 - PMF is just saying capable - that's ok, as this then applies on a client basis for management frames to that client that supports it, otherwise, they're in the clear.

I have seen threads regarding how PMF causes issues for their clients, just wanted to know if it's possible for me to steer completely away from PMF if in case in the near-future I have issues dealing with PMF being enabled...
