Checking in to see if anyone had any opinions or recommendations for security systems or cameras. At my old house I had a REVO setup I got from sams club, it used proprietary ethernet cables to connect the cameras to the DVR system. It worked okay, some corrosion issues on terminals over time.
I'm looking to add cameras to my new house.
Also I assume it wouldn't make sense to tie the cameras into my current switch that my houses internet is wired to, or maybe it would?
I also have a bunch of outlets in the house if you think wireless might be better, but personally I enjoyed the wired interface so I didn't have to worry about interference
