First, Polycom announced the upcoming RealConnect service for Office 365. Available later this year, the service allows Skype for Business users to host meetings on non-Skype for Business endpoints.
Second, formerly called Project Rigel, Polycom’s Microsoft Skype Room System (MSR) is a newly introduced series that can be bundled with existing Polycom products, such as the company’s RealPresence Trio phone, the CX5100 360-degree video camera, and the RealPresence Medialign system, enhancing small and large sized meetings with higher quality video and audio.
Polycom is now taking signups for RealConnect service for Office 365 previews, while the MSR series will be available in Q1 2017. For more information, check out the products’ page on the Polycom website.
