Port forwarding for Xbox

Hi, I just bought a new X-box one console. I came to know that I need to do port forwarding to update the games and for online gaming. I need a step by step help on this matter. I am not that much tech-savvy person (My profession is like fine arts ). I am using a Dsl connection of acanac and is using this dsl modem.

try upnp on your router first, if that doesnt work than port forward, if that doesnt work than you're behind another NAT which means theres nothing you can do.

What can I do to resolve this issue? Do I need to replace my networking device?

Your question has already been answered. You shouldn't need to do any port forwarding. Just log in to the Smart RG SR360n and make sure that "Enable UPnP" is checked (Advanced Setup -> UPnP). Reboot the SR360n then reboot the Xbox. That is all.
