Powerline Interference

New Around Here
Lots of glitches on our HDTV signal streamed over Netgear AV500 powerline adapters. Turns out it was caused by having charger cables plugged into power outlets in the same room as the first Powerline adapter. My phone charger cable plus two more similar cables for charging an iPhone and an iPad Mini were the culprits. They generate interference when not in use and it corrupts/degrades the Powerline signal. When we unplugged those charging cables our HDTV streaming became smooth and clear with no glitches.

Savvy home networking people here already know this i'm sure, but thought it was worth mentioning in case it helps someone. Cheers!
