My router is the TP-Link Archer C8 which is awesome. To expand my wired and wireless network I bought this AC750 Poweline WiFi Range Extender. Likewise, it was simple to set up and so far works as intended. However, when I log into the C8 to look at the clients connected to the network, it shows that some normally wireless clients (like my iPhone 4S) are listed under "Wired" clients instead of Wireless. I cloned my WiFi network to the Powerline, so is that what's causing the issue?

Are the mis-reported wireless devices connected to the extender?

That's why. They are coming into the router via Ethernet.

Ah! Thanks. Now how do I access the settings on the Powerline itself? I don't see it listed as a client when I log in to my router.
The powerline utilities I have used work only when a computer is plugged directly into the adapter.
