RMerlin

Asuswrt-Merlin dev
Test builds were uploaded to Mediafire.

Please keep the feedback specific to the new update notification in this separate thread.

Changes since 380.63_2:

Just making sure, the notice that there's an alpha3 available is not the case? Its just testing the update feature?

Merlin: 380.64_alpha2 rock solid after 48 hours running on my RT-AC1900P, but I'm not doing anything exotic with it - except passing a lot of IPSEC through it.

Successfully updated both RT-AC68U and RT-N66R from Alpha 2 to Alpha 3.

In Firefox for seemingly the past couple firmwares and on all the pages except Traffic Manager, the tabs are separated from the content, example below. A simple margin fix will cure it:

.FormTitle {
margin-top:-100px !important;
}

Edit: uMatrix was the problem.

I don't have any problem here with Firefox. Are you using either a small window or custom zoom/DPI?

Changing the CSS with this would break it for everyone else...

Sorry to bother you. I put more time into figuring this out today and uMatrix either enabled or disabled seems to be the culprit; sometimes it works, sometimes not. I thought I ruled it out at one point but guess I didn't. Thanks. Edit: Apparently I had the user-agent option enabled and since it changes every 5 minutes, it's what led to the inconsistency.

do not know if related or not but running alpha 3 or the latest and when I click on my computer the network lists nothing. I have 13 devices on my network and they all function and the ones that I have links for are accessible its just they are no longer listed. and only changes made were the router firmware.
any one else seeing this?
thanks

Alpha 3 up and working well 15 hrs on my 88U.
I think the alpha 4 is a typo, or referring to the fake alpha 4 he post for testing his notifications.

As of posting, I do not see alpha 4.

I think it's a typo .. I found Alpha 3 not Alpha 4 :)

Correct. That's because only a few minutes before posting, I had been spending time with a "fake" alpha 4 entry on the firmware update server, to test the model-specific URL.
