Print server on AiMesh node?

hi all,

I am new to AiMesh so my problem may be trivial to some. I seek your help in setting up a print server on AiMesh node.

I have 2 AC68U (converted from TM-1900) and have set them up as AiMesh Router and Node respectively. One thing I noticed immediately is that I lose direct control of the Node: if I try to login to the WebUI of the node by its IP address, the web browser is redirected to the AiMesh Router instead.

I would like to set up a printer server on the Node: The AiMesh router will be located on the main floor where the in-coming Internet connection is, and the Node will be located at the office where the printer is. But since I cannot login to the Node via the web interface directly, how does one go about setting up a printer on the node?

Using the node's IP address, I followed ASUS' instructions here: https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/114024, using the LPR protocol.
