1) The router uses the same Broadcom-based hardware design as all other draft 11ac routers. So it's unlikely that we're going to discover anything new performance-wise.
2) Cisco just started making them available for review.
The product is here and waiting for me to clear out some of the review backlog.
Starting to look at the EA6500 now. People will be happy to see that the router allows you to log in and access full admin locally without registering with Cisco.
