Proton VPN and AX6600 XT8

Anyone using Proton VPN running on an ASUS XT8 ? Any issues ?
I’m new to VPNs so be gentle please… LOL.

I've been running both ProtonVPN and PIA for a number of years on various Asus routers, but not that particular model, without any issues.
Are you experiencing a particular problem or is this just a general inquiry?

Thanks for the reply. Just trying to inform myself. And I just found out my ioT devices won’t work with proton VPN. So now I have to check if that applies to all VPNs. Since is for my home network. I have a few of them.

No issues yet. Since I haven’t set up the VPN yet. This is a copy/paste that I received from Proton support.
“If you set up the ProtonVPN service on your router, you won't be able to access your LAN-connected devices (Ring alarm system with camera, Schlage smart wifi door lock, MyQ garage opener), since your internet connection will be routed through our VPN network, and your local access won't be available due to the change of IP/DNS and geolocation settings. We are working on providing "Allow LAN connections" and split-tunneling on our router configurations in the near future”
