Q-SEE8916 and RT-AC87U

Is anyone aware of any special setting on 87U in order to get Q-See NVR working properly?
I have already forwarded ports 3777, 37778 and 85, still no luck
Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

I have a QC8116 and am running beta 2 as well and I can access mine just fine. I am just forwarding 37777 to the internal ip of the NVR. I do use the QCView app on my pc.

Did you give your NVR DHCP IP or reserved static IP or used the one Q-SEE has preset 192.168.1.108 ?

After 3 days with a number of different tech support people we all came to the same conclusion that I have a defective NVR and I will be getting a new one.

The QSEE Security NVR's - I have a friend with a couple of them in retail configs...

Don't try UPNP to try the port forward (they'll try and fail with many routers, not just Asus), and they work better with Static IP's and fixed ports... been there, done that..

Once sorted, they work very well... but they're very particular on the config, and the manual's that QSEE has make a lot of assumptions that they shouldn't perhaps on network setup.
