If the R7000 is being used as a router, and its WAN port is used, then the DSL modem/router needs to be put in the bridge mode so its router is disabled. That done, the bridge is a layer 2 device and has no QoS role.I just got a R7000 and have probably a simple QoS question.
do I have to enable QoS on both my DSL Modem and the router?
Right now I have it just on the router and it seems to work great.
I can not seem to find a pass though option.
Although I am still trying to figure out what the heck this setting does.
I can not really find any explanation of it.
