Hi there, I came across this link that Merlin has edited. https://github.com/RMerl/asuswrt-merlin/wiki/QoS-Queue-Disciplines
I have Centurylink Fiber of 100 Mbps and I bypass their modem by connecting my RT-AC86U directly to the ONT and their VLAN 201.
I don't know if I even need to change any of the settings since I don't have any streaming issues, but I did what it said in this post (see above) and set it to fq_codel with WAN packet overhead of 4 (Ethernet VLAN) and changed my upload and download bandwidth to 95% of max (47.5 Mb/s up and 95 Mb/s down).
If anyone can offer any advice such as if I even need to stray from the default sfq queue discipline and if I need to limit the bandwidth?
Thanks.
