question about jumbo frames

First, I did read the article on jumbo frames, but unless I missed it, I'm unsure about the router. Heres my setup: 1000 mb pc with jumbo, 1000 mb qnap 409 with jumbo, netgear gs108t 1000 mb with jumbo. The pc, and qnap are connected to the gs108t. The gs108t is connected to a netgear FVS336G router. The router is connected to cable modem, and 4 100 mb devices. The fvs336 is 1000 mb but does not support jumbo. Does the router have to support jumbo frames for the qnap and pc to use jumbo frames?

I guess to sum it up: can the pc, and qnap run jumbo with the switch, but the switch connect with the router non jumbo?

Thanks for your time

Yes, you missed it. MSS discovery will allow mixed 100, gigabit and gigabit/jumbo networks to work.
