Hey guys, getting this msg in my sys log of:

kernel: protocol 0800 is buggy, dev eth6

not sure if I should be investigating further but it keep scrolling with that so I’m thinking it’s serious?

Model: ASUS RT-AX86U
Firmware: 386.2_2

Aimesh enabled:
Node is: RT-AC86U
Firmware: 386.2_4

be gentle…as you can see…I only know enuff to be dangerous:)

Often related to Guest Network #1. Usual suggestion is to move to Guest Network #2 or #3.

Ah ok…I’ll check that out…

I’ve heard of havin problems on a eth01 or 02…but never eth6…thanks:)

Do you have IPv6? If not then disable it in the WebUI, if you do have IPv6, try to change to Native and see if the message disappears.

This may stop the error log, but If he switches to GN 2/3 what happens to the node GN? He runs AiMesh.

put myself on GN and accessed my main router and went and looked at system log and other settings.

Full disclosure: I cheated though....when I went and added myself...checked off that box "access intranet" Enable:)
