Hello,
I just bought an Ooma telo and my bandwidth drops significantly if I connect the telo between the modem and router so I ended up putting the Telo behind my router. Here is my current setup:
Modem->Router(wpn824)
.........................|-->Telo
.........................|---->GS108
.....................................|-->NS4600 (promise nas)
.....................................|-->WNHDE111--- wireless ---WNHDE111
.....................................|-->WorkStation .........................|-->HTPC
......................................................................................|-->media player
WPN824: telo, GS108
GS108: NS460, WNHDE111 (1), workstation
WNHDE111(2): asus media player, HTPC
The problem is that WPN824 doesn't have QoS for the Telo so I m thinking of getting the Linksys WRT320N which doesn't support jumbo frame but the GS108 does. is the jumbo frame enabled for the traffic between the ports within the switch? In general, does the router has anything to do with the traffic between the NAS, HPTC, workstation ?
thanks
TT.
